Public Safety Staffing is a partnership between two small businesses located in Paris Kentucky and Clearwater, Florida. We believe in the importance of helping Law Enforcement Agencies throughout Kentucky to fill their openings with great, qualified candidates as quickly as possible. The talent availability crisis for police departments is real and is something that we are working to help to address.

We will assist qualified candidates to be considered for great opportunities while helping agencies fill current Patrol Officer positions and meet future hiring needs. Additional qualifications may vary depending on the current member agency needs.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect criminal activity.
  • Respond promptly to calls for service and emergencies.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of crimes, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
  • Enforce traffic laws and regulations, issuing citations as necessary.
  • Engage with the community through outreach programs to build positive relationships.
  • Provide first aid and CPR in emergency situations until medical personnel arrive.
  • Utilize surveillance techniques to monitor suspicious activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, arrests, and investigations.
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies when necessary.

Experience

  • Candidates should possess a combination of education and experience that demonstrates their ability to perform the duties of a police officer.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in law enforcement or related fields such as loss prevention or criminal investigation.
  • Proficiency in CPR and first aid certifications.
  • Demonstrated skills in conflict management and leadership.
  • A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week

Salary Information: $60,000- $75,000, depending on location, position and qualifications.
